Goo Jae-hee (Choi Jin-ri) is a Korean girl who lives in the United States. One day, she sees a track and field competition on TV, and becomes attracted to one of the high jump competitors, Kang Tae-joon (Choi Minho). She begins to idolize the young athlete and eventually transfers to Korea to attend the same school that Tae-joon attends after he suffers an accident that could potentially end his career. There is a catch, however: Tae-joon attends an all-boys high school so Jae-hee cuts all her hair off and wears boys' clothes to disguise herself as a boy to enter the school
As she is disguised as a boy, Tae-joon despises her. But suddenly, Jae-hee's older brother, Daniel Dawson (Julien Kang), comes to Korea for a while. Her brother eventually knows what his little sister is doing. Daniel soon decides to make Jae-hee leave the school. Jae-hee and Daniel argue in her and Tae-joon's room, when Tae-joon comes and overhears their conversation through the door. Daniel blurts out, "Is it reasonable to live in a man's dorm if you're a girl?" Tae-joon is surprised but does not tell Jae-hee that he knows her secret.
Knowing she is a girl, Tae-joon wonders if he should or should not tell the school about Jae-hee. He soon realizes that the reason Jae-hee is attending their school is because of him. He decides to keep Jae-hee's secret to himself, in fear that she might leave the school. Soon his cold personality changes and he develops strong feelings for Jae-hee.

As a Hana Kimi fan, I was really excited to hear that there was a Korean version of this. However, as I kept on watching, I realized how different it was from the manga I desperately loved. The stark disparity between both is what made me stop watching it in the end.I just hated the fact that they didn't include the fact that she's like a track star. And the whole relationship between the school doctor and Jae Hee was not what it should have been.
Also, this random gymnast girl that follows Tae Joon? Who is she and how is she relevant to this story? She doesn't even belong here. Anyways, I'm not going to continue.
Maybe if I wasn't such a hardcore Hana Kimi fan, the drama would have been alright, but unfortunately, I am, and I like things to stick to the script.
